About me
I'm a German native speaker, resident in the United Kingdom and specializing on technical and marketing translations. Before turning to translations in 2001, after passing the exam to English - German, German - English translator (examined by the Chamber of Commerce in Germany), I worked in the chemical industry for 16 years, also achieving several qualifications relating to chemistry, quality control and plastics engineering. This gave me a good understanding of technical processes and machinery. During that time, I also worked as a translator for short stories in my spare time which gave me the feeling for the language.
